Questions
What does "pay once" mean?
You buy the DIY license one time, with a year of updates included. There’s no monthly fee for each screen.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Every new install starts with a free 30-day trial: all features, on up to 5 screens. During the beta, join the beta and we’ll get you set up.
Do you host the server for me?
No. Reboot Signage runs on your own server, on your own network, so your screens never depend on us. Most people use an old office PC. If you’d rather not keep one on site, you can run it on a small cloud server you rent yourself; the setup guide explains how.
Can I move my license to another computer?
Yes, twice in any 12 months, which covers an old PC giving out. Enter your key on the new computer and the old one switches off.
Do I need to buy new hardware?
Usually not. Most PCs from the last ten years work. Check them against the hardware checklist.
