About Reboot Signage
Good computers shouldn’t end up in a landfill just because their operating system got old.
DRAFT: written from the business brief. Replace the bracketed parts with your own story.
Why we started
Windows 10 reached the end of support in October 2025. Plenty of perfectly good office PCs can’t run Windows 11, so they’re being unplugged, boxed up and sent away, even though they still work.
At the same time, small businesses pay monthly, per-screen fees for digital signage that mostly shows a menu, a few specials and the week’s events. That didn’t add up.
Reboot Signage puts those two things together: take the PCs that are being retired, run them on Linux, and turn them into signage players and servers you pay for once.
What we believe
- Saving money comes first. Reusing hardware and paying once should make signage affordable for a bar, a church or a small office, not just for chains.
- Then keeping e-waste out of landfills. Every old PC that runs a screen is one less thrown away, and one less new one bought.
- Your screens, your network. Your server lives in your building, and your screens keep playing when the internet drops.
- No tracking. This website has no trackers, ads or third-party scripts, and the software won’t either.
