Digital signage software · now in beta
Turn the PCs you already own into digital signage.
Give your old PCs a second life.
Reboot Signage is Linux-based signage software for retired office desktops, thin clients and old laptops. Put menu boards, specials, event screens and announcements on your TVs, and pay once instead of every month for every screen.
Three steps to your first screen
-
Find an old PC
The retired office desktop, the thin client in the supply closet, the laptop nobody uses. If it’s 64-bit, it’s probably up to the job. Check the hardware list.
-
Install Reboot Signage
Our software runs on Linux, so you don’t need a Windows license, and it doesn’t matter that the PC can’t run Windows 11.
-
Put your screens to work
Plug it into a TV, then build menu boards, specials and announcements from a web browser on your own network.
Why it's different
Pay once
One license with a year of updates included, instead of a monthly fee for every screen. See beta pricing.
Reuse the hardware you have
PCs that can’t run Windows 11 run Linux just fine. Less to buy, and less going to the landfill.
Works on your own network
Your signage server lives in your building, and your screens get their content from it over your local network.
Keeps playing if the internet drops
Screens keep showing their content when the internet goes down, so the menu board doesn’t go blank in the middle of service.
Windows 10 is done. Your PCs aren't.
Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 in October 2025, and plenty of perfectly good PCs are being retired because they can’t run Windows 11. Linux runs them fine. Instead of a trip to the e-waste pile, they can run your screens for years.
